On Friday, March 13th, Monmouth-Roseville High School hosted a College/Career Fair featuring local employers, colleges/universities, and the military. All MRHS students (and some United High School students) were able to attend the fair and speak with representatives of colleges and careers from the surrounding area. The Counseling Department would like to extend a thank you to all who participated and helped make the day a success!

A virtual presentation will be hosted for all area high schools by Carl Sandburg College tonight at 6:00 PM. If your student is interested and has not already talked to their counselor, please ask them to do so after attending the information meeting for scheduling purposes.

E-Learning Day – Announcement
This is the Monmouth-Roseville School District with a message for our parents:
Due to our blizzard warning and anticipated whiteout conditions, Monday, March 16th, is an E-Learning Day for all students. Students in grades 9 to 12 should log into their device to find the activities for the day. Students in grades Kindergarten to 8 should work on the packet of activities that was sent home from the teacher.
The softball game at the Louisville Slugger Complex in Peoria that was scheduled for tomorrow is cancelled.
The high school Softball game at Galesburg today is cancelled.

The "One-Click College Admit" program is going live! That means your student can fill out a basic form, including their high school GPA, and receive direct admission to Illinois Community Colleges and Public Universities. This eliminates application fees, essays, letters of recommendations, etc. The letter from ISBE is attached, and the opt-in form is hyperlinked in the letter. Juniors must enroll in this program during this school year to be eligible.
